Anchor Device Types
We provide comprehensive inspection and certification services across a wide range of equipment and systems.

Anchor Bolts
Anchor bolt inspections verify correct torque, embedment depth, corrosion levels, and load-bearing capacity in compliance with ASTM F1554 and local structural codes. Bolts showing cracking, significant corrosion, or non-compliant installation are flagged for immediate remediation to maintain structural safety.

Anchor Hook
Anchor hook inspections examine throat opening dimensions, latch mechanism functionality, surface cracks, and deformation in compliance with EN 15011 and ASME B30.10. Hooks showing twisting, wear beyond acceptable limits, or a defective safety latch are immediately withdrawn from service to prevent dropped loads.

Anchor Point
Anchor point inspections verify rated load capacity, structural substrate integrity, and hardware condition in compliance with EN 795 and OSHA 1910.140. A formal inspection certificate is issued upon satisfactory assessment, confirming the anchor point can reliably support fall arrest and work positioning loads under foreseeable conditions.

Rigging Point
Rigging point inspections assess weld quality, base metal condition, deformation, and load rating markings per ASME B30.26 and UAE lifting regulations. Any identified corrosion, weld defect, or structural anomaly results in immediate withdrawal from service and a written recommendation for repair or replacement.

Life line / Safety Line
Lifeline and safety line inspections cover the full length for cuts, abrasions, core damage, and secure termination integrity in compliance with EN 353, EN 354, and OSHA 1910.140. Self-retracting units are tested for correct locking action and load-bearing continuity to ensure reliable fall protection at all times.

Inspection of lifeline wire ropes, webbing, energy absorbers, and connectors for wear, damage, and correct function.
Load Testing
Proof or non-destructive load testing of anchor points and lifeline systems to verify structural capacity at multiples of design load.
System Compatibility Verification
Confirmation that all anchor system components are compatible, correctly rated, and suitable for the number and weight of users.
Certification & Documentation
Issue of system-specific certificates showing anchor location, test date, load applied, inspector credentials, and next inspection due date.

Annual Inspection Required
Permanent anchor devices and horizontal lifeline systems must be inspected at least annually by a competent person accredited to UAE and international standards, and more frequently if exposed to harsh environments or following an incident or near-miss.
Load Testing at Installation
All new permanent anchor devices must be load tested at installation to verify structural performance before first use, with test certificates retained as part of the building's safety file and maintenance records.
User Records & Training
Employers must maintain records of anchor system inspections, ensure users are trained in the correct use of the system, and verify that rescue plans are in place before work at height commences on any structure.
