Holiday / Continuity Testing
Wet sponge or high-voltage testing of coatings to detect pinholes and discontinuities in the applied protective film.
Adhesion Testing
Pull-off or cross-cut adhesion tests to confirm coating bond strength to substrate and between coats at specified frequency.
Visual Inspection & Defect Recording
Systematic visual examination and photographic recording of all coating defects with remedial action recommendations provided.

Project Specification Compliance
Coating inspection must verify compliance with the project specification, referencing ISO, SSPC, NACE, or ARAMCO SAES standards as applicable.
NACE / AMPP Inspector Qualification
Coating inspectors on UAE projects are required to hold NACE/AMPP CIP Level 1, 2, or 3 qualifications. TSC's inspectors are fully qualified.

All coating inspection activities must be documented with daily reports, product data sheets, batch certificates, and application records for handover.
